Skin maceration to extract the characteristic fruitiness of Muscat. Pneumatic pressing, slow fermentation at controlled temperature to preserve aromatic expression. Aged on fine lees. Bottled at the estate.
Terroir:
The Grand Cru Pfersigberg — meaning “Peach Tree Hill” — faces south-east and benefits from exceptional sunlight, allowing for early ripening of the grapes.
The soil is predominantly marl-limestone, with a subsoil rich in limestone pebbles.
Appearance: Pale yellow with light golden highlights, bright and luminous.
Nose: Expressive and musky, opening with crisp stone fruit aromas and a freshness that reflects perfectly ripened grapes.
Palate: Broad and supple on the attack, gaining energy from a well-integrated acidity. The generous fruit and fleshy texture reveal the richness of the marl-limestone terroir of sun-drenched Pfersigberg.
Finish: Long and flavorful, leaving a lasting impression of finesse and balance.
Ideal to drink now for its fruitiness and freshness. Can age up to 7 years in the cellar.
Serve chilled, between 8 and 10°C
The Muscat Grand Cru Pfersigberg, with its finesse and aromatic intensity, is a refined choice for aperitif, whether enjoyed on its own or with elegant bites. It shines with delicate pairings such as white asparagus with mousseline sauce, sea bass ceviche with lime, or fresh goat cheese with roasted figs. At the end of the meal, it offers a refreshing note alongside desserts featuring white-fleshed fruits or a peach and verbena salad.
