Nose: Complex and generous, it reveals notes of honey, sweet spices, and smoky underbrush — typical of the grape variety — complemented by elegant vanilla nuances from barrel ageing.
Palate: The attack is broad and silky. This Pinot Gris shows opulence and smoothness, carried by aromas of yellow-fleshed fruit. It’s structured and generous, yet remains well-balanced.
Finish: A refreshing peach note lifts the finish, bringing balance and length with a touch of liveliness.
Best enjoyed young for its fruit and freshness. Can be cellared for up to 10 years.
Serve chilled, between 8 and 10°C
This expressive, generous Pinot Gris is a delightful aperitif on its own. Its aromatic richness and smooth texture also make it an excellent match for foie gras, whether pan-seared or mi-cuit. It pairs elegantly with fine fish in sauce or with characterful cheeses such as aged Roquefort or a creamy blue. A gastronomic wine—ample, balanced, and refined.
