Terroir:
The Grand Cru Pfersigberg – meaning “Peach Tree Hill” in French – faces southeast and benefits from exceptional sunshine, ensuring optimal grape ripeness.
The soil is predominantly marl-limestone with a subsoil composed of limestone pebbles.
Appearance: Bright yellow with golden highlights, clear and luminous.
Nose: Intense and expressive, revealing aromas of honey and sweet spices, with smoky and undergrowth notes typical of the variety. Rich and deep overall.
Palate: From the very first sip, this Pinot Gris reveals a generous, opulent character. The texture is full, supported by natural sweetness and aromas of yellow-fleshed fruit. A touch of fresh peach brings a welcome lift to the finish.
Finish: Long and balanced, combining roundness, aromatic intensity and fresh precision. A Grand Cru of character, both generous and harmonious.
Ideal to enjoy now for its fruit and freshness. Can be cellared up to 10 years.
